Record the good things in life

This is a completely new concept to me but I've heard a lot about gimbals and was excited when I got the opportunity to review one.

Typically a gimbal removes some of the jerkiness from a video shoot - in particular when coupled with a tracking capability such as this one, it can keep subjects centre screen and stable when used correctly.

which you can install on your phone - seems to support most smart phones, Android and Apple.

The phone fits into a a cage on the gimbal and then you can control the shoot from the gimbal handle.

The gimbal is not a heavy device, making it suitable for holding for long periods of time in one hand. The build quality however is excellent.

I took two videos, one without and one with to see how big the difference was going to be, and even trying my best without, I was unable to come close to the quality of the video WITH the gimbal. Unfortunately I cannot upload them as they contain images of a person so you'll have to just accept my description.

Without it, there was substantial jerking every time I moved and the subject moved around in the shot. With, there was still some vertical bobbing (apparently I need to learn to walk more smoothly), but overall it was much smoother and the AI did a great job of keeping the subject centre screen.
I did notice that if there isn't a clear person to follow, sometimes it randomly picks another object to "track" so it's not perfect.

Anyway I really like this gimbal - I'm still learning how to use it to the full, but I have no doubt it has improved my video's already. Now I want a gimbal for my main camera!

It's really convenient to use for travel

As long as I can bring it to concerts, it works way better with my iPhone than holding it by hand! QAQ A lot of the photos turned out great, and even the video screenshots were impressive. I left a positive review right after the concert! I’ll take some time later to explore all the features… I was so busy that I had to learn how to use it on the day of the concert.
